Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of:
- Hydraulic presses, paint booths (liquid & powder), and curing ovens.
- Overhead/floor conveyors, including motor gearboxes and drives.
- Pneumatic systems – FRLs, actuators, valves, and compressors.
- Utility systems – centrifugal pumps, gear pumps, blowers, impellers, forklifts
- Conduct mechanical overhauling of pumps and blowers including bearing replacement,
alignment, seal checks, and impeller balancing.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and carry out Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and
Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Preventive Maintenance Planning
Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules based on OEM guidelines
and machine history.
Use SAP PM module for:
- Creating and closing maintenance notifications, orders, and task lists.
- Scheduling PM activities, generating checklists, and tracking compliance.
- Recording equipment history, parts consumption, and downtime analytics
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain PM compliance reports, breakdown analysis sheets, and spare part logs.
Ensure documentation of all maintenance activities as per internal and audit requirements.
Reliability Improvement & Safety
Support reliability initiatives, energy-saving projects, and OEE improvement.
Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, LOTO, and environmental guidelines.
Participate in TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement activities.
