Job Description
Execute hourly & shift production plan with manpower
deployment and line balancing.
Conduct shift-starting meeting / toolbox talk to communicate
safety, quality alerts, and production targets.
Perform PY (Parameter / Poka-Yoke) checking & Start of
Production Checklist verification before line start; ensure first-
piece approval.
Ensure strict adherence to SOP, Work Instructions, Control Plan &
quality checkpoints across all stations
Monitor takt time, cycle time, machine health, and raise
immediate escalation for deviations
Maintain real-time production reporting (hourly board,
ERP/MES), proper shift handover & communication of pending
issues
Ensure 5S, safety compliance, FIFO, and workplace discipline
throughout the shift
Verify availability and readiness of tools, fixtures, gauges,
consumables, and critical spares during the shift to prevent delays
and ensure smooth operations
Monitor hourly production vs target, record losses, take corrective
actions, and escalate issues immediately if recovery is not possible
