Job Description
Execute start-of-shift quality checks, First Piece Approval & Poka-
Yoke / critical checks for all running lines
Investigate defects using 5-Why / basic root cause analysis and
support CAPA closure
Maintain traceability, FIFO, red-tag control & documentation
accuracy for the shift
Monitor & reduce internal rejection, rework, DOL/DPU defects
and ensure zero PDI defects
Lead quality reaction at shop-floor with immediate containment,
defect segregation & feedback to operators
Coordinate with Production & Maintenance for process discipline
and defect prevention
Participate in Why-Why analysis / 8D discussions and execute
immediate containment actions
Close shift-wise handover with next shift with defect status,
pending points & risk notes
Implement containment actions immediately on detection of
abnormalities & inform production / maintenance
